2008 Health Information Exchange Conference
A one day conference in Ukiah on July 18, 2008 investigating
how health information exchange can improve patient care.
Current Projects
Clinical Message Service
A pilot clinical message service delivering results from 5
analytical laboratories to 25 ambulatory practices in Lake,
Mendocino and Sonoma Counties. Initial project planning
funded by a grant in 2005 from the Blue
Shield of California Foundation, and project implementation
funded by a grant in 2008 from UnitedHealth Group /
PacifiCare.
Redwood Health
Information Collaborative
A community steering committee convened by Mendocino
County Department of Public Health in collaboration with Redwood
MedNet to develop a local Health Information Exchange. Initial
project funded in 2005 by a grant from the
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
